Questions Hospitals should be asking when interviewing a Traveler” HEALTHCAREseeker.com announces it’s first in a series of Free Lectures geared to helping Hospitals with staff shortage issues.
HEALTHCAREseeker.com, the 9th fastest growing staffing company in the U.S., which places Traveling Medical Professionals such as Nurses and Allied Medical Professionals in hospitals throughout the U.S., has announced its first in a series of lectures geared towards hospital personnel. This free lecture, which will cover “Questions Hospitals should be asking when interviewing a Traveler”, is scheduled for March 31, 2004, at 3pm (Eastern) and will be conducted on a conference call. Those who are unable to attend may also receive a free transcript.

Stephen Halasnik, President of HEALTHCAREseeker.com commented, “For the past several years our Lecture Series has been the leading information source for Traveling Medical Professionals. We strongly felt that this same successful format could also be used to help our clients and other hospitals to address their key issues in relation to the 40,000 Travelers that are used at any one time throughout the US. These seminars are very informative, and this first one will directly give Hospital Staffing Managers, Departments Heads and Directors of Nursing a frame work for the type of questions they should be asking to make sure the Traveler is a good fit.”

Mr. Halasnik continued, “Over the eight years of being in the staffing business we have developed an excellent methodology for making sure a Traveler is a good match for a client and is one key reason we have an industry leading 95% satisfaction rating from Travelers and Hospitals we deal with. However, our interview, skill assessment and background checks can only go so far. We have learned that there are certain questions and issues discussed that need to be covered when the hospital interviews a Traveler. Setting expectations, covering the Nurse to bed ratios, going over the department culture, talking about floating to other departments, and many others help ensure that a Hospital manager is getting a professional who will fit in and help their staff. In addition, it helps the Traveler to make sure that she/he will be happy in their Travel assignment. This seminar will cover a successful framework of questions the hospital may want to implement when they are involved in interviewing candidates”.

If you are interested in signing up for this free seminar, please register at http://www.healthcareseeker.com/lectureseries.asp or call Lauren at 888-331-3431x10. Three days prior to the seminar HEALTHCAREseeker.com will be sending out the phone number to dial into for the conference call and upon the seminars completion, a transcript will go out to those registered.
